| | Hello and welcome to
Tyler Wayne's Official
Home Page.
For those of you
not familiar with Tyler, let me give you a little background. For those of you
that know and love him, we hope you enjoy the additional insight.
Tyler Wayne was born in Columbus, Ohio, Feb. 2, 1981. He taught himself to
play the rhythm guitar at the age of 10 (ten). By the age of 13 he was already
writing his own songs.
His musical influences would include such legends as:
Johnny Bush, Hank Thompson,
Gene Watson, Elvis, George Strait, Ricky Skaggs, and Alan Jackson.
He quotes his favorite song as -"When did you Stop Loving Me" performed by
George Strait.
Tyler has played from New York to Florida and in between (played churches, jamborees, clubs, fairs and
a lot of front porches. He presently calls Nashville, TN. home.
In his spare time Tyler likes to fish, collect guns, draw and cook. He is a
dog lover and has a cream colored chow named "Lacey" (who has five
cousins!). Tyler can be quoted as saying "I am a fan of today's country but
my true love is the traditional sound of the country legends." Which is why
if Tyler were in the dictionary, the definition in bold print would be
"Country" Not only does Tyler have respect for all good singers but also the
musicians who make the singer sound so good, Tyler loves to give them their due credit.
